There is growing interest in the relationship between physical activity and mental health. In this public lecture from June 2018 Dr Florence Kinnafick, Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Loughborough University, provided an overview of the psycho-social benefits of exercise on mental health. She then discussed, using evidence from Mind’s Get Set to Go programme, how community-based programmes can best engage people with mental health problems.
