NCSEM supporting Promising Practice Regional Roadshows

The NCSEM and Public Health England are supporting ukactive to run a series of free Promising Practice Regional Roadshows looking at physical activity interventions and ‘what works’ in getting more people active.

The Promising Practice programme aims to identify good practice that could be scaled up to contribute towards making ‘everybody active every day’ and deliver health, economic and social benefits for local communities.

The events will provide delegates with the opportunity to hear about the Promising Practice programme and to gain insight from regional political representatives about their commitment to the physical activity agenda.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to view posters from local physical activity providers to gain insight on best practice in your local area.

The roadshows will be taking place in the following locations:

  • 3 April – Edinburgh
  • 11 April – Manchester
  • 18 April – Nottingham
  • 4 May – Bristol
  • 8 May – London
