The next event in the NCSEM Sport, Health and Medicine seminar series will be held at the NCSEM East Midlands on 20 January 2017.
‘Exercise and Preventative Medicine’ is a one-day seminar exploring a selection of state-of-the-art interventions in the field of physical activity health promotion. Aligning with the broader aims of the seminar series, it aims to facilitate interdisciplinary understanding of sport, health and medicine, identifying how the bio- and social sciences can collaborate to facilitate the effective translation of knowledge into policy and practice.
The seminar series is structured around the key themes of the NCSEM and will be of interest to biomedical and social scientists, healthcare practitioners, sports policy makers and third party bodies engaged with sport-related health and medicine research.
