The East Midlands Research into Ageing Network (EMRAN) is holding a seminar, Design and the Older Person, at the NCSEM-EM this May.
The seminar, in collaboration with Loughborough University’s Design School, will look at promoting healthy ageing in the East Midlands. Professor Tischa van der Cammen (Professor of Autonomous Ageing at the Technical University of Delft, Holland) will be delivering the keynote speech and will base her talk on her most recent publication which highlights the work she and colleagues are conducting in Holland; a model the East Midlands will be able to learn from. The event will take place on 17 May 2017 from 12.30-4pm.
The aim of the event is to facilitate collaborative applied research into ageing and older people in the region.
