Professor Nick Webborn is one of the industry’s leading experts in sports medicine. He is Professor of Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Brighton and a Visiting Professor at Loughborough University. Outside of his University and BPA duties Nick is Chair of the International Paralympic Committee’s Medical Committee.
This talk covered the evolution of Paralympic sports medicine as a specialty and how it has evolved from being rehabilitation into trying to provide the same support for Paralympic athletes as Olympic athletes. Nick has been on this journey over the last 30 years and will shared his experiences.
