The UK Chief Medical Officers’ guidelines explain the physical activity needed for general health benefits for disabled adults.

The guidelines recommend the disabled adults:

  • aim for at least 150 minutes each week of moderate intensity activity for substantial health gains
  • do strength and balance activities on at least two days per week.
